Russian State Duma Accepts Bill to Establish Deportation Migration Regime
The Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, known as the State Duma, has accepted a bill on the establishment of a deportation migration regime in the first reading.
The document stipulates that foreigners who are subject to such a regime will not be able to change their place of stay in Russia without permission, leave their residential region, operate vehicles, acquire property, or register a marriage.
The State Duma has also approved a bill in the first reading that grants the internal affairs authorities the right to decide on the deportation of foreigners.
