Police are searching for former MP and his son

According to SHAMSHYAN, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan on June 13. Around 6:45 PM, a resident of Yerevan, 36-year-old Zarzand Hakobyan, reported to the operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that an individual identified as Tachat, a resident of the same address, approached him in front of house 24 on Sevastopolyan Street. The individual started a dispute with him regarding the relocation of a vehicle, then verbally assaulted him and kicked his own car.

During this time, several unidentified individuals approached them and began to physically assault Hakobyan. According to the source, officers from the criminal investigation department of the Arabkir police arrived at the reported address and, after conducting operational investigative measures, determined that the individuals mentioned by Z. Hakobyan were 58-year-old Tachat Vardapetyan and 29-year-old Askhanaz Vardapetyan, both residents of Yerevan.

Documents have been prepared at the Arabkir police station regarding the physical assault, which have been forwarded to the Arabkir investigative division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia. Sources indicate that T. Vardapetyan is a former member of the National Assembly, while A. Vardapetyan is his son.
