Photos: Activities of 3 Gasoline Stations Halted in Yerevan and Gegharkunik Province
Based on the orders of the head of the Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia's Urban Development, Technical, and Fire Safety Inspectorate, an inspection was conducted regarding the fire safety of several gas stations. This included the gas station operated by the 'VARAND' LLC located at 27 Hrayr Kochar Street in Yerevan, adjacent to the 'RIO' shopping center, as well as two gas stations in Gegharkunik Province: one located at 46/1 Kamo Street in Martuni, operated by an individual entrepreneur, and another gas station located at 177 5th Street in Geghhovit community, Martuni region.
Following the fire safety inspections at these establishments, fire safety specialists from the RA State Urban Development and Fire Safety Inspection Body identified violations of fire safety regulatory requirements. These violations posed a direct and immediate threat to the risk of fires and the safety of individuals.
Therefore, considering the potential risks and the degree of danger resulting from these violations, the head of the RA Inspection Body made decisions to suspend the activities of the aforementioned gas stations. Their operations have been sealed in collaboration with the State Enforcement Service of Armenia.
