Legendary French Actress Passes Away

French actress Anouk Aimée (Nicole Dreyfus) has passed away at the age of 92. She is known for her role alongside Jean-Louis Trintignant in Claude Lelouch's film "A Man and a Woman." The news of her death was shared on social media by her daughter, Manuela Papadakis.

"I was by her side when she passed away this morning at her home in Paris," Papadakis wrote on Instagram.

Aimée worked with some of the greatest directors of her time. Her role in "A Man and a Woman" earned her numerous awards, including a Golden Globe, as well as a nomination for the prestigious Oscar. She also starred in Federico Fellini's "La Dolce Vita" and "8½." The star was born in Paris in 1932 and began her film career in the 1940s, rising to prominence in the 1960s.
