Fan Zone for Georgia and Turkey Match Closed in Dortmund Due to Weather

According to local media, the German Meteorological Service has warned of heavy rainfall, lightning, thunderstorms, and strong gusts of wind.

“Dortmund was eagerly expecting and preparing for a large fan celebration with tens of thousands of Turkish and Georgian supporters in the city. The safety of fans in our city is very important. It is a priority,” declared Dortmund city representative Martin Sauer regarding Euro 2024.

It is reminded that today, on June 18, the Turkey-Georgia match will take place at Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park as part of the group stage of the 2024 European Championship.
