35-Year-Old Man Calls Ambulance Multiple Times, Argues with Doctors in Yerevan

On May 30, an extraordinary incident took place in Yerevan. Around 23:00, an unknown citizen called the Mashtots police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, reporting that they were at 8A Arzumanyan Street. During the call, loud noises were heard, after which the call was disconnected. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to the website, around 03:00, the operational management center of the Armenian police received information that the ambulance station 2 reported that there had been four calls from apartment 27/1 of the building at 8A Arzumanyan Street, where 35-year-old Narek E. had argued with the ambulance team and taken the doctor’s tablet, and was now calling again, exhibiting aggressive behavior while under the influence of alcohol.

At around 04:20, the operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call from the 'Armenia' medical center, reporting that a 35-year-old man, Narek E., was transported to receive medical care with a diagnosis of 'scratches on the crown of the head' by ambulance group 25 from the specified address.

Upon arrival, the community police officer from the Mashtots department learned from Narek E. that his calls to the emergency services had not reflected reality, as he was under the influence of alcohol. He also stated that no one had hit him and he did not remember where and under what circumstances he had sustained his injuries.
