Video: Suspects Take Hostages of Two Employees in Rostov Investigation Isolation Facility
In a significant incident, suspects held in one of the cells of the Rostov region's investigation isolation facility have taken two employees hostage. This news has been confirmed by the main department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.
The communication states, "The Rostov region department of the Federal Penitentiary Service reports that suspects held in the No. 1 investigation isolation facility in Rostov-on-Don have taken two employees of the prison service hostage."
The agency further indicates that the head of the Rostov region department, along with representatives from cooperating law enforcement agencies and the prosecution, are present at the scene. Negotiations are ongoing to secure the release of the hostages.
Reports indicate that six suspects are involved in the hostage-taking. It is also noted that the investigation isolation facility continues to operate as usual, and the situation is under control.
