Girona Interested in Spetsian: He Could Transfer from the Spanish League

The Catalan club Girona may strengthen its squad during the summer transfer window with the addition of midfielder Eduard Spetsian from Krasnodar and the Armenian national team. This is reported by Metaratings.

According to sources, the Spanish club, which will be making its debut in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League in the new season, is keen to acquire the 24-year-old from the bullfighter's academy and has already inquired whether he would like to change clubs during the off-season period.

Spetsian has yet to respond; if the player gives a positive answer, Girona is ready to make a concrete offer to Krasnodar.

In the previous season, Spetsian played 33 matches across all competitions for Krasnodar, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists. His current contract with the Russian club runs until the summer of 2026.

On May 25, in the 30th round of the Russian Premier League, Krasnodar defeated Dynamo Moscow 1-0, clinching silver medals in the tournament. Zenit St. Petersburg has become the champion of Russia for the sixth consecutive time, winning against Rostov in the final round.
