18+. Video: Stabbing Incident Arising from a Dispute Over Yielding the Road

A video has surfaced online showing a stabbing incident that reportedly took place on May 29. According to Shamshyan.com, the stabbing occurred in the Aragatsotn Province.

At around 3:35 AM, the Police Department of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Ashtarak received operational information that a citizen with a "stab-wound to the chest" was transported to the Armenia Medical Center.

The source reported that authorities determined the victim was 19-year-old Gagik H., a resident of Aragatsotn Province, whose condition is assessed as moderately serious. It was also established that Gagik H. has "penetrating stab wounds to the anterior abdominal wall and thigh" and is currently in the intensive care unit of the Armenia Medical Center, unable to provide explanations about the incident.

Through operational investigative measures undertaken by the police, it was learned that at approximately 2:30 AM on May 29, a dispute arose over signaling with a vehicle to yield the road. During this altercation, 22-year-old Gor P., a resident of Aragatsotn Province, struck Gagik H. with a cutting and piercing object, causing the aforementioned injuries.

The Ashtarak Police Department is taking measures to locate the weapon used in the crime, other participants in the incident, and Gor P. Documentation regarding the case has been prepared at the Ashtarak Police Department and forwarded to the Aragatsotn Regional Investigation Department of the Armenian Investigative Committee, where a criminal case has been initiated.
