Video: Major Explosion Near Abovyan City - What Is Known
A major explosion has occurred near Abovyan City. Footage of the explosion has spread across the internet.
The 911 service has received calls indicating that an explosion took place at one of the gas stations located 2 km along the Yerevan-Sevan highway, resulting in a fire breaking out.
The emergency response teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations are en route to the scene. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
