Zelensky Calls Putin's Conditions for Cessation of Hostilities Ultimatum

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has commented on the conditions set by Russian President Vladimir Putin for the cessation of hostilities. Zelensky referred to Putin's proposals as an 'ultimatum' and stated that Ukraine cannot trust them.

'What can I say? These messages are ultimatums; they are no different from the other ultimatums he has given in the past. He wants us to concede part of our occupied territories, but he also wants unoccupied areas. He speaks about the regions of our country and has no intention of stopping. There will be no frozen conflict,' Zelensky said.

It is worth noting that on June 14, Vladimir Putin spoke about the conditions for halting military operations in Ukraine during a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among these conditions is the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics, as well as from the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.
