One of the Targets of the Armenian Prime Minister is the Armenian Apostolic Church: Zatuline
Participating in the summit in Switzerland regarding the Ukraine issue aligns with the political line pursued by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This opinion was expressed by Konstantin Zatuline, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma's Committee on the Commonwealth of Independent States.
It was announced today that the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, will travel to Switzerland to attend the summit on food concerning Ukraine.
“I believe that everything corresponds completely to the explicitly stated course related to Mr. Pashinyan's long-standing conviction of orienting Armenia towards the West and moving away from Russia, with all the specific details stemming from this, including Armenia's presence in the CSTO and the stay of Russian border guards and the Russian military base in Armenia based on previous agreements,” Zatuline said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He noted that the severance of relations with Russia requires a reassessment of values, which Pashinyan is actively engaged in. The politician added that one of the current targets of the Armenian Prime Minister is the Armenian Apostolic Church. Zatuline considers the Prime Minister's actions to be a betrayal of the fundamental interests of the Armenian people. According to him, the entire issue is how much the citizens of Armenia and Russia will make appropriate conclusions from this.
The deputy lamented that they have been late in making conclusions.
