Large Fire in One of the Komitas Buildings: According to the Homeowner, a 3 kg Gas Cylinder Exploded

Today, on June 14, a large fire broke out in Yerevan. At around 17:25, the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call reporting that fire and smoke were visible from the sixth floor of building 49/4 on Komitas Avenue. According to the website, two fire crews from Yerevan's fifth firefighting and rescue squad arrived at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation. A man at the scene, who identified himself as the owner of the apartment, stated that the fire was caused by a 3-kilogram gas cylinder that had a gas leak, which subsequently exploded and ignited a fire that spread rapidly.
