Germany Announces New Military Aid to Ukraine

Germany has announced the transfer of new aid to Ukraine, which includes weapons and military equipment. This was stated in an announcement posted on the official website of the German government.

"The new military aid package for Ukraine will include 10 Leopard 1A5 tanks and their ammunition. This is a joint project with Denmark. Also, 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles and munitions will be transferred, along with two IRIS-T SLM and IRIS-T SLS air defense systems and other military equipment," the announcement states.

According to the text of the document, Germany has already provided nearly 28 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine. On May 30, during a visit to Odessa, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius promised a new military aid package of 500 million euros to Ukraine.
