First Time I Have Seen with My Own Eyes That We Have a Border: Vahagn Khachatryan
The President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachatryan, recently visited the designated border area in the Tavush region and shared his impressions with journalists in Gyumri.
“For the first time, I have seen with my own eyes that we have a border constructed by our own hands. Currently, there are barbed wires, and we will make it even more orderly. Our border guards are stationed here, and further ahead, in the distance visible through binoculars, Azerbaijani border guards are also stationed. Vehicles are passing through. I have traveled through the villages and seen that a new bypass road is being constructed to ensure the safety of our citizens,” he stated.
The President emphasized that the most important thing is that people feel the support of the authorities and know that they are not alone. Khachatryan addressed citizens concerned about the future of the country, stating that the government shares their worries regarding security and works daily to address these issues.
