Court Convicts Vazgen Manukyan

Today, the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, presided over by Judge Vahe Misakyan, held a hearing in the case of Vazgen Manukyan. The court found Vazgen Manukyan guilty and sentenced him to a fine of 400,000 AMD.
Defense attorneys Erik Aleksanyan and Aram Vardevanyan announced that they would appeal the verdict. The defenders are demanding an acquittal.
It is worth noting that Vazgen Manukyan has been charged under Article 301 of the RA Criminal Code (public calls aimed at usurping power, violating territorial integrity, or violently overthrowing the constitutional order).
