Body of Man Discovered in Charentsavan City Park

On June 13, a tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk Province. At around 11:40 AM, the Charentsavan division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a distress call from the leadership of the Charentsavan administrative region's "Culture" community organization, reporting that a man's body was found hanging in the Charentsavan city park.

According to Shamshyan, police and investigators found the body of a man approximately 60-65 years old, hanging from an iron structure in the aforementioned park. Based on the preliminary examination by the forensic expert, no signs of external violence were detected on the body.

Following the incident, the Charentsavan investigative division has initiated a criminal proceeding with characteristics of murder (suicide). The police and the investigative division are undertaking necessary operational and investigative joint actions to determine the identity and residence of the deceased.
