2-Month House Arrest Imposed on Stepanakert Mayor, Lawyer Says

Stepanakert Mayor David Sargsyan has been placed under a 2-month house arrest. This was reported by lawyer Ruben Melikyan.

“Judge Massis Melikonyan completely satisfied the investigator's request and imposed a 2-month house arrest on the Stepanakert mayor,” he wrote.

It is recalled that Mayor David Sargsyan had previously been arrested for 20 days. The Investigative Committee reported that D.S. (identified as David Sargsyan) committed particularly large-scale fraud as part of a group, and also prepared forged documents and used them with three other individuals.
