Police Issue Statement on Recent Protests

Some participants of the protest taking place at the intersection of Bagramyan Avenue and Demirchyan Street have thrown bottles at police officers and attempted to breach the police line by taking helmets and clubs from the officers. This has been reported by the Police.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds the organizers and participants of the protest to refrain from illegal actions and to avoid inciting clashes. Any unlawful manifestations will be subject to appropriate criminal legal assessments.
