Details on Compensation Programs in Disaster Areas: Insights from Prime Minister Pashinyan
We need to help people repair and restore their homes. This was stated today, June 12, during a question-and-answer session with the Government in the National Assembly by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, addressing the inquiry from the Civil Contract faction member Aren Mkrtchyan regarding the compensation programs being implemented in the disaster area.
“There is a need to support businesses; we need to see the visible product residues for us, the turnover from the previous period, and to provide certain support to the businesses. Next is related to vehicles, specifically those vehicles that are not subject to restoration. Last year, we implemented a major vehicle marking program and we know how many cows or cattle each individual has,” said the Prime Minister.
Mkrtchyan also emphasized that the Prime Minister's visit to the disaster area demonstrates that people are not alone with their problems. The Government leader noted that being on-site and documenting the issues reveals a different perspective.
