Which Roads Are Closed: Drivers Urged to Avoid Specified Sections
The Rescue Service informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. Near the village of Getapnya in the Ararat region, there has been a partial collapse in the pedestrian section of a bridge, resulting in the suspension of traffic on the bridge.
According to the Road Department Fund, the Vanadzor - Alaverdi - Ayrium - Bagratashen road is passable only for passenger vehicles. Drivers are advised to bypass the M-6 road towards the Georgian border via M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Armenia border and the M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Armenia border interstate roads.
The M-4 Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Armenia border road is passable from Dilijan to Ijevan. However, in certain sections, the traffic is one-way.
The bridge leading to Khachatarak and Lusahatov villages is closed in both directions.
Regarding Lars, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
