Armenian Actor Cosmo Jarvis’s Participation in ‘Сёгун’ Recognized as Best in 2024

TIME has recognized the series ‘Сёгун’, featuring Armenian actor Cosmo Jarvis, as the best of 2024. The series tells the story of an English navigator who faces shipwreck and ends up in the land of the rising sun, where he becomes a samurai’s right-hand man in the struggle for power.

Harrison Cosmo Krikorian Jarvis is a British actor, musician, and director, born in New Jersey. His mother is Armenian, and his father is English. The actor's ancestors fled the Genocide. In both 2017 and 2020, he was nominated at the British Independent Film Awards for ‘Most Promising Newcomer’ and ‘Best Actor’ categories.
