What Erdoğan and Aliyev Discussed in Ankara: Details
Details have emerged from the meeting between the presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan in Ankara. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev discussed regional and international issues.
They emphasized the successful development of brotherly, friendly, and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. Erdoğan announced he would participate in the informal summit of the Turkic States Organization in Shushi in July.
The two leaders also touched upon cooperation in energy, transportation, economy, and trade expansion, as well as defense and military industry. They highlighted the importance of Azerbaijani and Turkish cooperation in the development of the "Middle Corridor."
