Fidan and Narishkin Discuss Peace Agreement Between Yerevan and Baku

The Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who arrived in Russia, met with the Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Narishkin in Moscow. This was reported by the Sabah newspaper, citing diplomatic sources.

It was previously reported that Fidan had also held talks with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergey Shoigu. According to sources, the discussions focused on the situation in Ukraine, the Gaza Strip, Syria, and negotiations regarding the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Sputnik Azerbaijan, for its part, reports that Fidan and Narishkin discussed the peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan. As part of his visit to Russia, Fidan will also participate in the meeting of foreign ministers of BRICS+ countries in Nizhny Novgorod. Turkish diplomatic sources indicate that meetings with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov are also expected.
