The participants of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, led by Bishop Bagrat, spent the night on Baghramyan Avenue, in front of the National Assembly building. They continue to block the Baghramyan-Demirchyan intersection. During the night, the citizens set up numerous tents here and lit bonfires, while early in the morning, they conducted cleaning activities.

The night before, following a rally held in Republic Square, Bishop Bagrat led his supporters on a march towards Baghramyan Avenue. However, a heavy police presence prevented the march from entering Demirchyan Street. A group of protesters proceeded towards the governmental residences, but again, the police did not allow them to enter Demirchyan Street from Proshyan Street.

Throughout the night, the situation in these parts of the capital was tense. Eventually, the march returned to Baghramyan Avenue, where it was announced that tents would be set up, and a sit-in would commence.

Bishop Bagrat remarked during the previous evening's rally in Republic Square, referring to the transitional government, that the agenda must focus on three distinct directions:

  1. Establishing a Coalition Government for Peace, formed from all capable individuals based on their professional achievements, knowledge, and dedication, grounded in the principles of justice for internal reconciliation.
  2. Foreign relations aimed at genuine peace, without adversaries, aligned with the Armenian agenda.
  3. Preparing and conducting extraordinary or regular elections within the established timeframe, without aspiring to participate in these elections, ensuring a free and transparent environment while providing initial fairness for all political forces.

He added that at this moment, we must make a decision: "We can resolve the issue if, starting tomorrow, for just 4 days, we remain in the streets without pausing, without working, without resting, and without sleeping, and impose our will."

Bishop Bagrat also presented a three-step action plan:

  1. Step 1: The opposition members of the National Assembly initiate an extraordinary parliamentary session on June 11 at 18:30, with an agenda focused on the government's resignation and the formation of a new government.
  2. Step 2: On June 10, the Council of the National Assembly is obliged to accept a decision to convene an extraordinary session, based on the will of the people. The political majority, including the PP members, must adhere to the will of the people, acting with personal conscience and conviction. We will not permit them to commit another anti-state mistake in our presence.
  3. Step 3: Based on the nationwide demand, the parliament ratifies the decision for the resignation of the current government and the formation of a new government during its extraordinary session,” emphasized the leader of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement.
