Rescue Divers Retrieve Two Bodies from Car in River

On June 8, at 10:26 PM, the National Police's operational management center in Gegharkunik Province received a report indicating that a "GAZ" vehicle had collided with a concrete barrier on the M-4 highway near the Tsamakaberd neighborhood of Sevan and had fallen into the Hrazdan River.

At 10:59 PM, the patrol service of Gegharkunik Province informed that rescue divers had retrieved the bodies of a approximately 13-year-old girl and a woman around 40 years old from the submerged vehicle.

An investigation is underway.
