One Person Arrested on Suspicion of Preparing Terrorism During Euro 2024

A person with triple citizenship has been arrested on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act during Euro 2024, which will be held in Germany, according to Bild.

The 23-year-old Soufyan T., a citizen of Germany, Morocco, and Poland, attempted to apply for a job as a steward for the European Championship through UEFA.

Investigations revealed that this individual had also submitted job applications for the Rock am Ring music festival and the Nürburgring 24-hour car race. Investigators believe that the arrested individual may be a member of the terrorist group “Vilayat Khorasan.” This group carried out a terrorist attack in March at Russia's Crocus City Hall.
