Zelensky to Visit Berlin on June 11

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Berlin on June 11 and will deliver his first in-person address at a special session of the Bundestag.

His trip to Germany coincides with a conference dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine, organized with the participation of the German Foreign Ministry. Zelensky will speak at the opening of the conference alongside Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, reports the dpa agency.

The invitation for Zelensky to speak at the Bundestag was extended by Robin Wagener, the head of the Germany-Ukraine parliamentary group, who advocates for increased military assistance to Kyiv.
