KP Assures: Nothing Left, Just a Little More Concession, and the Blissful 'Peace Agreement' Will Be Signed, Expert Says
Azerbaijani expert Tatevik Hayrapetyan writes:
“A whole analytical community loyal to the ruling party (KP) is engaged in convincing us that nothing is left, just a bit more concession, and the blissful 'peace agreement' will be signed. According to the merchants of hope, it is very likely that it will be signed as early as November.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan has clearly demonstrated through straightforward texts and explicit policies that it will not sign any agreement. After each subsequent dream, it will raise new objections, sometimes mentioning the Khojalu issue, other times raising constitutional matters, or desiring an extraterritorial corridor through Syunik, and so on. After all, the aim of this state is to achieve the non-existence of Armenia or at least to form a non-viable Armenian state. The path of the peace agreement leads exactly there—step by step, piece by piece… while we can continue to deceive ourselves, believing that soon there will be a miraculous document that will free us from all our problems…”
