Israeli Army Prepared for Military Action Against Hezbollah

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) completed preparation work for operations against the Lebanese Hezbollah movement last week, announced Major General Ori Gordine, commander of the Northern Military District, on Thursday.

According to him, during the past eight months, Hezbollah has lost 420 individuals, including members of its command personnel, while Israeli forces have also destroyed a number of its facilities. He emphasized that the IDF's mission is now clear: to ensure the security of northern Israel so that displaced Israelis can return home.

It was reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced yesterday that his country’s armed forces are ready to carry out extensive military operations along the border with Lebanon.
