VIDEO: Tigran Avinyan Discusses Pothole Repair Works

We have already completed approximately 80,000 square meters of pothole repair work this year, and we still need to carry out additional repair work, said Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a press briefing with journalists.

“But in addition to pothole repairs, this year we are implementing medium repairs for the second year in Yerevan, covering approximately 55 km of roads,” he noted.

To ease city traffic, the Mayor spoke about alternative roads: “This year we have discussed and approved in the Investment Committee the bridge and road connecting Tbilisi to the Yegvard highway. I believe this is the largest road project that we expect to commence soon. We also have a project connecting Arshakuniats and Isakov roads, where the expropriation process is currently underway, and I believe we will see construction starting next year.”
