The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Awaits: The Minister on Snoop Dog's Concert in Armenia

The concert of Snoop Dog should have taken place on September 22, 2023, but it was postponed due to the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Arsen Torosyan, a member of the Civil Contract faction, inquired whether the funds allocated by the Government would serve their intended purpose or if they would have a different fate. Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan clarified, “This year we are expecting a proposal from the organization. They should provide three different deadlines, from which we will choose the most suitable one for organizing the concert within the framework of the agreements that were made. No additional plans are being contemplated.”

Arsen Torosyan responded that there are too many speculations related to the topic. “Let’s clarify that, nonetheless, the concert will take place. It is simply the date that is being discussed, and those interested will be able to participate once it is confirmed when it will occur,” he added.

According to the minister, it is possible that the concert will take place in August. They are now waiting for a written proposal to officially announce the deadline.

It should be noted that the Government allocated 2.318 billion AMD for Snoop Dog's concert in 2023.
