Sampling of Drinking Water from the Disaster Zone Conducted
Julya
Immediately after the flood, and continuing to this day, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) of the Ministry of Health has conducted 280 samples of drinking water from the disaster zone. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
No pathogenic bacteria have been detected. The results of ongoing monitoring confirm that the sanitary deviations identified in drinking water during the first days of the disaster have now been neutralized.
Experts from NCDC continue to conduct sampling from soil and dead animals in the disaster zone, and awareness-raising activities have been carried out on-site.
