Next Meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to be Held in Yerevan

The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in Yerevan at the end of September to early October, announced Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Armenia is represented by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan at the meeting held in Minsk.

The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, comprised of the heads of government of the EAEU member states, ensures the implementation and monitoring of decisions made by the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which includes the presidents of the union countries. Council meetings are held at least twice a year.

The Eurasian Economic Union includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
