Garden Wall Demolished for Kiranț-Ajarkut Alternative Road Construction

A garden wall has been demolished for the construction of an alternative road connecting Kiranț and Ajarkut. This was reported to NEWS.am by Karen Ghazaryan, a resident of Ajarkut.

He stated that today, the construction workers demolished the garden wall without notifying the residents. The demolition was part of the road widening works for the alternative route. “They didn’t even inform us before demolishing it. My mother was at home, and when she went outside, she saw that the garden wall had been completely torn down. My mother asked the workers why they did this without informing us, and they said they should have notified us,” shared the resident of Ajarkut.

It is noteworthy that the reconstruction of the Kiranț-Ajarkut road commenced on May 19. Arayik Harutyunyan, the head of the Prime Minister’s office, stated that the road would be widened, making it accessible for heavy vehicles as well. The road is expected to be put into operation within two months.
