Video: Russian Air Defense Currently Resisting Ukrainian Assault, Belgorod Governor
Russian air defense is currently resisting a Ukrainian assault. Kyiv has once again attempted to carry out criminal strikes on the residential areas of Belgorod and the Belgorod region.
The Belgorod region of Russia has once again come under fire, with six people reported injured in the city of Shebekino, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
A shell that failed to detonate in the Korocha district exploded, resulting in the death of the deputy head of the regional administration. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has announced that an alert for missile danger has been declared in the region.
Eyewitnesses reported that in total, more than eight explosions were heard. The Ministry of Defense reported that a missile from the “Olha” multiple launch rocket system was destroyed over the region.
On Saturday night, as a result of a massive Russian strike using dozens of missiles and attack drones, energy facilities were affected in at least eight districts, with at least 20 injuries reported.
The Belgorod region borders Ukraine's Kharkiv region, where Russian forces have launched a new offensive in May. Kyiv has stated that it targets only Russian military facilities.
