A 'Peace March' is taking place in central Budapest, attended by tens of thousands of Hungarians from across the country, opposing Hungary's involvement in the Ukraine conflict and the potential for a new war triggered by NATO in Europe, reports RIA Novosti.

'European leaders are engulfed in a military frenzy. After sending money, weapons, and military equipment, they are already planning military aid for Ukraine. In fact, the President of France has opened the debate on the use of nuclear weapons. We must stop this military insanity,' states a declaration from the organizers of the 'Civil Alliance Forum' march.

Dozens of thousands of participants, who have arrived from all over Hungary, are holding national flags, signs with the names of their cities, and posters in support of the ruling 'Fidesz' party. According to the organizers, Hungarians are participating in the march not only from within the country but also from abroad, particularly from Romania, Poland, Great Britain, Germany, the United States, and Canada.

The previous 'peace march' took place in March 2022, where protesters opposed supplying arms to Ukraine and Hungary's involvement in the conflict.
