German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has stated that a potential deal between Israel and the Palestinian radical Hamas movement offers a "ray of hope." Baerbock made this remark on her page on the social network X.

“Israel's proposal is a ray of hope and may show the way out of the deadlock of war,” Baerbock noted. She added that German authorities have been tirelessly working for several months to reach an agreement with other countries.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Joe Biden declared that the Palestinian Hamas movement has lost the capability to launch new attacks like those on October 7, 2023, due to the Israeli Defense Forces' military operations in the Gaza Strip. The White House leader emphasized that Israel can present any proposal from Hamas without risking its own security.

Earlier, Netanyahu had declared that the war between Israel and Hamas would continue until 2025.
