The KP Meeting Has Been Postponed: What Is the Reason? ‘Hraparak’
According to the ‘Hraparak’ newspaper, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan decided to postpone the party meeting after being held hostage in the government building for several hours yesterday. The party’s initiators' meeting, which usually takes place every Thursday, did not occur as scheduled.
It is noteworthy that early Thursday morning, people, led by a clergyman, blocked the entrances to the government building for several hours, preventing Pashinyan from leaving.
Sources from the KP indicated that party members were only informed about the cancellation of the initiators' meeting, but no details were provided regarding the reasons. However, according to our source, the reason is the cleric-led movement; Nikol Pashinyan suspected that the movement could reach the party headquarters where these meetings are held. Therefore, the meeting has been rescheduled for next Thursday.
We had reported that a week ago, Pashinyan arrived an hour late to the same format meeting, waiting to see if protestors would gather near the office. Only after confirming that there was no demonstration did he proceed to the meeting.
