Lavrov: They Claim They Will Continue to Adopt Laws That Will Destroy Everything Russian

The authorities in Kyiv are convenient for the USA and the West as a tool in the fight against Russia, and for this reason, they are allowed to do anything, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Lavrov noted that there has been no reaction in the West regarding the restrictions on the use of the Russian language in Ukraine, despite Russia's repeated demands for an investigation into these bans through platforms such as the OSCE, the Council of Europe, and the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

“High-ranking officials in Ukraine often use offensive expressions against Russians, claiming that there should be nothing Russian in either Kharkiv or Mykolaiv. They also insist that they will continue to adopt laws that will legislatively destroy everything Russian, and if necessary, they will do it physically as well,” said the head of Russian diplomacy.
