Vanadzor – Alaverdi – Ayrum - Bagratashen Road and Bridge to Khushtarakh and Lusahovit Villages Closed
The Emergency Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. A partial collapse has occurred in the pedestrian section of the bridge near the village of Getapnya in the Ararat region, leading to the suspension of traffic across the bridge.
According to the Road Department Foundation, the Vanadzor – Alaverdi – Ayrum - Bagratashen road is closed. Drivers are advised to bypass the M-6 towards the Georgian border using the M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Armenia border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Armenia border interstate highways.
The M-4 Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Armenia border road is open for traffic from Dilijan to Ijevan, although in some sections, traffic is one-way.
The bridge leading to Khushtarakh and Lusahovit villages is closed in both directions.
