The situation outside the Ministry of Internal Affairs escalated during a conversation between Bishop Bagrat and Police Chief Aram Hovhannisyan, as the Bishop and journalists attempted to get clarifications on police actions.

"Put an end to your half-gangster posture; I know well what you're about, be glad that I haven't said anything yet," Bishop Bagrat told the Police Chief.

In response, the Police Chief remarked, "I know you too. There are plenty of criminals, people who are wanted, trying to find shelter under the cross."

The press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, also informed those gathered near the building and Bishop Bagrat that the Minister of Internal Affairs is ready to meet with Bishop Bagrat, but not in this format.
