What Putin and Mirziyoyev Discussed Until 3 AM

The presidents of Russia and Uzbekistan, Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, discussed security issues during their negotiations. This was reported by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.

“Today they will continue to discuss all current topics. These also include practical matters related to trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan, and, of course, the quite complex security situation surrounding our two countries,” said Peskov.

It is noteworthy that Putin was on a state visit to Uzbekistan. The presidents met face-to-face until 3 AM, with the Uzbek president inviting Putin to his residence.
