Moldovan Man Swims Illegally Across Ukraine Border to See Fiancée

Ukrainian border guards have detained a Moldovan citizen who illegally crossed the border from Moldova into Ukraine via the Dniester River. This incident was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
The man was previously banned from entering Ukraine for five years due to violations of residence rules during a prior visit. Determined to see his fiancée, he decided to cross the border illegally. However, instead of reuniting with his loved one, he was met by border guards.
He now faces legal consequences for illegally crossing the border and for failing to comply with the entry ban, which has been extended for another ten years.
