Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident in Armavir Region: Pedestrian Struck and Driver Flees

On May 27, a fatal hit-and-run accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 22:30, the police department of the Armavir region received operational information regarding a man's body found in the village of Aigek.

According to shamshyan.com, police officers and patrol units determined that at approximately 21:50, a driver of an unidentified make and model vehicle struck 52-year-old Surik Avetisyan, a resident of the Armavir region, on Yerevan Street in Aigek village, leaving him helpless and fleeing the scene.

The victim died at the scene. A criminal investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
