Water Levels Significantly Decrease in Disaster Zone
Edita
Water levels in the disaster zone have significantly decreased, and active repair works are underway for gas pipelines, electrical wiring, and water lines. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Unified Information Center.
It is important to recall that heavy rainfall on May 26 caused flooding in the Lori and Tavush regions, with the Debet, Aghstev, and Tashir rivers overflowing their banks, causing substantial damage to critical infrastructure and residential homes. Roads and bridges have collapsed. Four people have died as a result of the flooding. The government has declared the affected settlements a disaster zone.
