Police Use Tear Gas in Sisian: This Person Should Have No Peace, Says Bagrat Srabazan
Police used tear gas in Sisian, spraying it into the eyes of young men. There is no issue; we will continue in the same manner. This was stated by the leader of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement, Bagrat Srabazan, in the yard of St. Anna Church.
“Everything has been very selective from morning until now. You have witnessed that there was almost no movement in the morning; this is very important, but we need to increase the pressure. They should have no peace, and this person should have no peace along with all those who are accomplices. We are calm and will patiently move forward; our plans are progressing as they should, everything is normal,” said Srabazan.
Earlier, we reported that peaceful acts of civil disobedience began early in the morning at the call of Bagrat Srabazan. Citizens have blocked several streets. The situation has been tense in some areas of the capital, with clashes reported between the special forces and the participants of the protest. The police have informed that as of 11:30 AM, 240 citizens have been detained.
