Borrell Comments on Phone Conversation with Mirzoyan

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has commented on his phone conversation with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, emphasizing that peace in the South Caucasus is a common goal.

This was noted by the EU official in a post on his Twitter account. He mentioned that during the phone conversation, they discussed the Armenia-EU comprehensive agenda and other issues.

“I had an effective exchange of ideas with Ararat Mirzoyan regarding our busy bilateral agenda, supporting Armenia’s stability, and the new programs of Armenia-EU partnership. On regional issues, I reaffirmed support for the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process; our common goal is sustainable peace in the South Caucasus,” Borrell stated in his post.
