Rescuers Transfer Pregnant Woman and 10 Others to Other Side of Debed River
Thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a pregnant woman and 10 other residents have been transferred to the other side of the Debed River using a rope. Essential supplies, food, and medicines are being transported to the part of Sanahin station in Alaverdi that is located on the opposite bank of the river, as the bridge has collapsed. This was reported by Aren Mkrtchyan, a deputy from the 'Civil Contract' faction of the National Assembly, on his Facebook page.
The Alaverdi Medical Center is in constant contact with the pregnant woman, monitoring her health condition closely. Efforts are underway to restore electricity supply, as the power poles are submerged. The option of transporting a powerful generator from Yerevan to Alaverdi is also being considered.
