Photos: First Floors of Buildings Submerged; Residents Evacuated from Four Buildings in Alaverdi’s Sanahin Station Neighborhood

Residents from four buildings in the Sanahin Station neighborhood of Alaverdi have been evacuated as the first floors of these buildings are completely submerged. This information was shared by Aren Mkrtchyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract faction, on his Facebook page.

“All citizens who had housing issues have been accommodated in hotels, guest houses, and some have chosen to stay with relatives. We do not have any citizens left on the streets; urgent needs assessments and necessary assistance are being provided (food, water, medication, vehicles, etc.),” the deputy reported.
